TEXAS COVID-19 UPDATE: October 11, 2020

As of October 11, 2020, the Texas Department of State Health Services, reported there have been 790,060 cases of COVID-19 in Texas with 73,605 currently active cases. There are 3,265 cases in Kaufman County. There are 16,526 confirmed COVID-19 related fatalities.

On October 7, Governor Abbott renewed the State Disaster Declaration for COVID-19.

The City of Post Oak Bend plans to hold another drive through face mask and sanitizers hand-out in the near future. You may drive by City Hall and pick up your free items when the date is set.

Governor Abbott to participate in statewide TV Town Hall broadcast tonight, March 19, 2020 at 7:00 p.m to provide update on response to coronavirus COVID-19. It will be broadcast from Austin TV studio, and air locally on Dallas KDAF-TV Channel 33.
